Welcome to Cork Atlas: Your First Post Guide

Hey there! :waving_hand: Whether you’re just getting into wine or finally asking the questions you’ve been Googling in private… you’re in the right place.

This forum is built to help anyone, at any level, feel confident about wine—no flexing, no judgment.

:speech_balloon: What You Can Ask Here:

  • “I want to bring a bottle to a dinner—what’s a safe bet under $30?”
  • “What’s the difference between Pinot Noir from Oregon vs. France?”
  • “I saw a $9 wine at Trader Joe’s. Is it trash or treasure?”
  • “I don’t know what I like. Where do I even start?”

:white_check_mark: Tips for Posting:

  • Be honest about your level. New? Say so. Nobody here bites.
  • Add your location if asking where to buy. Wine is regional!
  • Pics help. Label photos = faster help.
  • No dumb questions. Seriously.

:compass: Need Ideas? Try One of These:

  • “What should I buy for my first wine dinner?”
  • “I liked Meiomi. What else should I try?”
  • “I just bought a wine fridge—what do I fill it with?”

Welcome aboard. :wine_glass: You’re not late—you’re right on time.
